Two New Original Wildlife Paintings NOW Available

It’s been a long time since I have had an original painting for sale as most of my painting time is now taken up with commissions, but I have exciting news, I have not 1 but 2 brand new painting available!!!

The 1st one I did in between commissions just because I really loved the rich warm side of the lion compared to the cool shadow side.

African Lion – Now Available as A Print

African Lion Blog - Painting

The image above shows the lion completed. I’m really happy with the way the colours are complementing each other on this painting.

As this painting is 12 x 12 in and is a more manageable size to ship, it is being sold fully stretched and ready to frame.

And the 2nd Painting – Mountain Gorilla – Now Available as a Print

    Hello,

Can I use the lion pic for my blog header?

  2. wildlifeart says:

    Hi Leyo,

Yes as long as I get a mention as the artist :-0)

    Jason:
You are my inspiration! I can only hope to gain the ability to breathe life into my subjects as you do. I have painted in oils for about 30 years, mainly landscapes, but I just ordered your cd in the hope that I may learn your techniques in order to add life to my paintings. I love animals, and I am looking forward to receiving your cd; I can draw animals, but I need lessons in color in order to add this new dimension to my canvases. I wish you all of the best in all of your endeavors!

best piece of art ive ever seen

  5. Brenda Human says:

Jason, you are so blessed with the most amazing God-given talent!!! Your paintings are all spectacular, but the African Lion really “grabs” me. I can’t take my eyes off him. I am a South African living in Canada, and your paintings make me long for home. The Lion especially, comes alive, as if he could step off the canvas at any minute. It feels like he is trying to say something too. Really, I’m speechless, truly amazing talent!

  6. Michael Bain says:

    Hey Jason:
I didn’t even think about asking but I used your African Lion painting on a facebook note.

  8. Jeanette says:

You truly are incredible. I’ve just started to attempt wildlife art as part of my art course at college… can I ask how long it takes you on average to complete a painting such as the lion??

  9. wildlifeart says:

Thanks for the comment Jeanette – appreciate it 🙂

I guess that little lion took me about 15hrs to complete, in a few painting sessions.

  10. tracy says:

wow i feel like that lion is right in front of me! amazing really!

  11. Alex says:

Just wanted to ask you where and how do you go about getting prints made of original art, as I want to get my Tiger painting I’m doing at the mo done as a print and have no clue how to go about it!!! I have an art page on my website if you want to see what I’m up to – although did get carried away with the size for my second pic!!!;)

  15. Jason, your art is absolutely breathtaking. I am moving from animation into Painting. You are an inspiration, i love and think it is important to show the “process” of how you get to your final completed painting. Will definitly be coming back for a visit here and there, take care, all the best.
