Siberian Tiger – Painting the Details – (Animal Art Blog)

Tiger Painting – the next stage – Jason Morgan

The light in this piece is really what will make the painting, it’s so dramatic and that is what I concentrated on in the stage below. Now I’m starting to work on some basic details and will continue to add them to the left side of the canvas before working over the whole painting again.

Tiger Painting – Latest WIP on the easel

Well with the epic “The Great Migration” painting now completed, I have started a painting that couldn’t be more different. This new small Siberian Tiger painting is all about dramatic light, and in the photo above I am blocking in the basic form – searching out the colours and how each one relates to it’s neighbour.

The Great Migration Painting – Finished!

Well as the title states, The Great Migration painting has been completed. I feel exhausted after my long journey with this painting 🙂 I really hope you all think it was worth it in the end.
