Well as most of you know it has taken ages for The Great Migration print to finally be released as a Limited Edition Print – it’s really not easy to perfect a print this size, but I’m excited to say that it now ready!!!
You can find all the details on my site here
It’s available in two sizes, the massive original size – 52 in x 16 in and also a half sized print 26 in x 8 in for those who don’t have quite a large enough wall space π
Here areΒ a few photos for those that haven’t seen the painting / print yet.

The blog has been free for quite a few years now, as has most of the tutorial sections on my Learn to Paint Site – and I wouldn’t have it any other way – I love to teach, always have.
However if anyone really likes the blog / sites and would like to buy me a coffee or make a donation to help keep the site etc running then it would be greatly appreciated π
All you have to do is click the – “Buy me a coffee” Image which should be on the right hand side, near the top
and then just make a payment – no matter how small to me, in the window that opens – simple as that.
Much appreciated – Jason π

More work on the Lion and more details added, as I finally enter the refinement stage – I’m now bringing the whole painting together as I put texture on the body and fur details on the face, hope everyone is enjoying a quick look in to my wildlife art world π
Don’t forget plenty more on my sites www.jasonmorgan.co.uk and www.onlineartdemos.co.uk

Well I’m at the stage with this painting where I am just tweaking now – a glaze here and there, spending more time standing back and looking at it, than actually painting. Hope you have enjoyed the journey – seeing how I develop a commission piece.
All continue to twek then upload a new photo under good lighting so you get a better feel for him – love to hear anyones thoughts on him π

I thoroughly enjoyed creating my latest Cape Buffalo studies, and from the emails I have received, lots of my visitors enjoyed them too.
When my gorilla painting has dried I have plans to do quite a few more studies, they could be anything at the moment, but elephants and Hippo are currently foremost in my mind – so if anyone is interested in those studies please just drop me an email – Paintings and studies can be reserved for collectors with no commitment to purchase.

Now the underpainting has fully dried I have started to begin the detail stage, once the details are all in I will begin adjusting tones and hues with glazes. Appologies for the less than perfect photo below.
